Flowering Tree 2005 This painting is me plagiarizing my all time favorite artist,Van Gogh, who was a master of color and line beyond my talent in every aspect. Van Gogh is the artist who was so depressed as to cut off his own ear, & eventually he took his own life in a desolate cornfield. Like many depressed people, I think he tried to "paint himself happy".

As much as I like painting, it isn't something that takes my mind off of depression!
